We published a study of our workshops in the Journal of Threat Assessment and Management. 4,666 participants in 100 workshops led by 9 different trainers.

More than 95% of 4,666 participants gave positive evaluations on all 5 items.

All occupations showed huge gains in knowledge of school safety and threat assessment after training.

We continually evaluate and improve our training program. Our study of 100 workshops led by 9 different trainers showed that participants gave consistently positive evaluations. Moreover, they demonstrated large increases in knowledge from pre-training to post-training. Notably, these positive results were found across occupational groups - school administrators, law enforcement officers, mental health professionals, and teachers. • Great job. I didn’t think I’d be able to keep focused for that long, but it was engaging, funny and well balanced.

  • This is a comprehensive training/program that corresponds with the restorative justice/more progressive models of behavior management that research supports schools can implement to improve school climate and culture  It is also clear and provides clear guidance in helping with problem-solving/decision-making processes.

  • I am a parent of a student … in the building … when a classmate killed x and injured x others. It has changed him and me as a mom and as a teacher. I want to know how I can protect my own students from ever going through what he experienced, I want to protect my school community from dealing with what my hometown is dealing with. I think about [it] and if ____ had a team in place to do an assessment, what may have gone differently…. I like that I have tools that I can use to help make my school community more secure.
